The Old Barn Cafe @ Lake Vyrnwy

   One of the best ways to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Vyrnwy is to cycle around it.    

   The ride around the lake is very flat, which makes it suitable for all fitness abilities and all ages. It is believed to be a 12 miles ride.

   It would take you between 1 hour and 2 hours to complete the ride, there are as well a few possible sightseeing spots or stops along the route ( the waterfall, birdhides, and pic-nic areas, etc).

   We hire exclusively Giant Terrago mountain bikes. Pictures below. 

 Please note that we are now shut for the winter. We will reopen before Easter 2012

The Old Barn Cafe offers a cycle hire service, with day rates or hourly rates available.

  Our rates are:

- £ 10.00 for 2 hours per bike with a £ 20.00 cash deposit against any damages, then £ 5.00 for any hour after that.

   We also provide single or double toddler's buggy ( from 1 to 5 years-old) or a tag-along for an additional £ 2.00, with the hire of adult's bike.

   For a more adventurous experience, why not hire a bike for a whole day?

- £ 40.00 per bike per day with a £ 80.00 cash deposit held against any damages.

   We do recommend booking the bikes with us on Bank Holidays or week-ends, to insure they are available to you.
